Six or seven years ago, I wrote a book in three parts. It's called Season of the Dark, and it's still available in one place where fine books are sold. Is it also a fine book? Maybe.
Thing is, I wasn't done with it: however much I'd like my creative process to be about ever looking forward, sometimes you've got to polish that ball of mud till it shines.
Sitting on my hard drive, as we speak, is a fully revised preferred author's text edition of the book. It's been done for a little while. It could've been released in 2019. But it wasn't. Why?
At some point in the revision process, I realized that the story wasn't finished, not really. There's a fourth part. If work permits, it'll be done in 2020, and then so will the whole lot.
Thanks for your patience, in the meantime.
